Simplifying Bitcoin Transactions

How It Works
New transactions:
- If both the sender and receiver use Bitpurz, transactions reflect immediately as they enter the Bitcoin 'wait pool'. Note that this does not mean confirmation.
- If only one party uses Bitpurz, the transaction will reflect after being added to a new Bitcoin block.
First Time Inquiry, Prior Transactions, and Wallet Rescan Times:
- The previous 1,000 blocks (about one week of transactions) are rescanned hourly. Unspent transactions from the last week will reflect a few minutes after the hour.
- All prior transactions will reflect after a full rescan. A full blockchain rescan begins every 4 hours, starting from 00:00 UTC, taking about one hour.
Down time and address import:
- Bitpurz's node may be reset without affecting your Bitcoin. During our beta phase, the wallet file may outgrow the server depending on inactive addresses. If this happens, re-import your address and check for a new rescan schedule. The current wallet has been running since January 3, 2024.
Fees:
- The fee selector displays available smart fees with the latest block estimate.
- Bitpurz does not guarantee the estimated block.
- Smart fees and block fee average update every minute.
- Bitpurz receives no fees; all charged fees go to miners, so please contribute to the project fund below.
